Two New Satellite Centers of Eastern District Health Centre Officially Open on 2 Mar 2026!

To enhance accessibility for residents across the Eastern District, the North Point Satellite Centre and Sai Wan Ho Satellite Centre have officially commenced operations as of 2 March, 2026.

These new facilities extend the core mission of the Core Centre, providing convenient primary healthcare services to the local community and fulfilling our commitment to keeping "Health Within Reach."

[1 in 20 Could Be You? Join the Hepatitis B Screening to Protect Your Liver]

Our center is now launching the "Hepatitis B Co-care Pilot Programme" ("Hepatitis B Co-care"). We welcome individuals from the following target groups to register for a Free Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) Rapid Test:

1. Hong Kong residents born in or before 1988; AND
2. Have family members or sexual partners who are chronic Hepatitis B patients; AND
3. Have not been diagnosed with chronic Hepatitis B and show no related symptoms; AND
4. Have not completed the full course of Hepatitis B vaccination.

According to the newly amended Electronic Health System Ordinance, all members who joined on or before 30 November 2025 are required to reset their Data Sharing Consent. To ensure that members can continue to participate in our centre’s programmes and consultation services without interruption, please update the Data Sharing Consent settings in the eHealth App (as shown below), or visit our centre in person for assistance from our staff.

To further strengthen the primary healthcare services and facilitate members of the public, Eastern District Health Centre Express (DHCE) will be upgraded to Eastern District Health Centre (DHC) with effect from December 2025, and it will continue to be operated by the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation.
